The Business Development Associate at CIBC Wood Gundy will support the Investment Advisor team, focusing on high-net-worth clients. Responsibilities include providing administrative support, engaging in business development activities like cold-calling and lead generation, organizing seminars, and assisting with client investment plans and proposals.

What We're Looking For

Provide support to the Investment Advisor team in Wood Gundy brokerage,Support and service high-net-worth client accounts,Cold-call potential clients to book financial reviews with an Investment Advisor,Generate leads and/or sales opportunities and reach out to prospective clients through prospecting,Develop and nurture business opportunity leads and sales pipeline through cold-calls, follow-up calls, and emails,Provide regular updates to Investment Advisor regarding client leads,Organize seminars (scheduling, booking rooms, preparing marketing approvals),Maintain compliance standards in client dealings/client files,Conduct administrative activities and engage in administrative processes for IA(s) and teams,Assist in the development of investment plans and written proposals for prospects and clients,Assist in processes to direct assets into suitable financial products based on client’s risk reward tolerances and demographic profile,Connect on a personal level with clients to make every interaction meaningful,Enhance relationships by collaborating with the team and providing administrative support,Respond to requests by answering questions and providing an exceptional experience,Heighten CIBC brand awareness by attending local events and participating in marketing and outreach activities,Grow network to create lasting connections that will generate future opportunities,Work closely with the team to connect clients with the right opportunities,Provide timely responses to client requests and maintain compliance standards in all files,Improve team productivity, proactively uncover business opportunities, and help direct assets into financial products

Ideal Candidate

Certified professional,Financial Services and/or Brokerage industry experience and working knowledge is an asset
