Business Application Specialist

Description

The Business Application Specialist manages and delivers Private Wealth Management Advisory Programs, coaches participants, and supports various CIBC teams (Private Banking, Wood Gundy, CIBC Private Investment Counsel, Wealth Planning, Insurance, Trust and Estate Planning) to improve advisor and associate skills and sales effectiveness. This role also involves leading or assisting in implementing new training initiatives aligned with business objectives.

What We're Looking For

Ensure business requirements for advisory programs are understood and implemented.

Lead a National onboarding training program for talent acquisition across Canada.

Support training programs for Wealth Advisors and Associates to deepen client relationships and market share.

Accountable for timely implementation, delivery, evaluation, maintenance, and enhancement of Advisory Programs.

Facilitate Advisory Programs and provide individualized learning support to participants and their leaders.

Deliver facilitation, virtual, conference calls, and synchronous training.

Proactively identify opportunities for program enhancements and implement changes.

Maintain current knowledge of IIROC regulations and other education requirements.

Lead or participate in firm strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects.

Ideal Candidate

Undergraduate degree in business or economics.

MBA is an asset.

Successfully obtained CFP, CIM or CFA accreditation.

Highly developed knowledge of the wealth management business.

8 to 10 years of experience in the industry.

Minimum of 2 years of Full Service Brokerage experience.
