Business Application Analyst III

Description

The Business Application Analyst III will be part of the Talent Management Pod, focusing on developing and supporting capabilities for managing the global talent workforce. This includes handling performance cycles, ratings, calibration, succession planning, talent portals, and skills management. The role involves managing project intake, documenting business artifacts, overseeing day-to-day operations, conducting Business Acceptance Testing (BAT), collaborating with technology teams, identifying and escalating risks, and acting as an escalation point for application and operational issues. The analyst will also support deployment, change management, and contribute to adherence to bank methodologies and data governance.

What We're Looking For

Responsible for intake of projects and major initiatives,Documentation of all business-owned artifacts for projects and major initiatives (PDLC methodology),Business process documentation for all owned/managed business applications,Day-to-day operations process management to ensure consistency and delivery according to established SLAs,Business Acceptance Test (BAT) documentation for all projects and major initiatives,Work closely with Test Lead to ensure common testing standards and practices,Execution of all BAT testing for projects and/or release maintenances,Work with Technology to establish a partnership and ensure business requirements and Data Governance requirements are met,Provide support on deployment and change management for initiatives,Review requirements specifications and technical design documents for feedback,Provide feedback and thoughts on possible solutions to issues/risks,Identify and escalate risks impacting project timelines or quality,Act as an escalation point for application and operation issues,May provide project management support,Act as a decision maker on projects, getting input from SMEs,Accountable for adhering to EPMO project management methodology,Ensure adherence to Data Governance Framework, guidelines, and regulatory requirements (Privacy, Legal, Compliance, Office of the Chief Data Officer),Continuously enhance knowledge/expertise in own area and keep current with technologies and business domains,Support development of business cases, including benefits identification,Support and/or implement solutions that mitigate risk and maximize service availability, efficiency, and effectiveness,Participate fully as a member of the team, supporting a positive work environment,Participate in knowledge transfer within the team and business unit,Keep current on emerging trends/developments,Participate in personal performance management and development activities, including cross-training,Keep others informed about project status and day-to-day activities,Assist others in work completion; provide training, coaching, and/or guidance,Contribute to a fair, positive, and equitable environment,Act as a brand champion for the business area/function and the bank

Ideal Candidate

Undergraduate degree or technical certificate,3+ years relevant experience,Experience developing and editing Workday business processes,Workday Pro Certification is a plus
