Description

The Data Management Team is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to contribute to the development and maintenance of the Finance Core Technology Platform. This role involves defining requirements for new system onboardings related to RBC retail & capital market positional exposures, supporting strategic regulatory programs. Additionally, the analyst will enhance the existing data model framework within CORE to meet business reporting needs and support other CORE functionalities like the Core Control Framework.

What We're Looking For

Proactively communicate and collaborate with business clients to analyze and deliver functional, data, and non-functional requirements through various artifacts such as business requirement documents, functional specifications, data specifications, use cases, and workflow analysis. Act as the primary contact for Finance/Risk business users regarding requirement delivery and managing interdependencies. Work as a key member of the project team alongside project managers, development managers, developers, business analysts, and quality assurance teams to ensure project delivery on time and within budget. Participate in business testing, solution readiness, operational readiness, and warranty support activities. Assess change requests, perform impact analysis, and manage identified risks. Develop subject matter expertise to support application roadmap and solution design.

Ideal Candidate

Experience working in data-oriented projects using Iterative and Agile methodology as a business or systems analysis lead. Experience with application landscapes including data stores, DataMart, and data warehouses, with a good understanding of data transfer and interaction mechanisms. Proficiency in writing SQL statements for qualitative and validation purposes.
