It involves ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of data center facilities by working with advanced HVAC, electrical systems, and sophisticated monitoring tools in a high-stakes environment. The position offers growth in facilities management and critical infrastructure, fostering collaboration across IT, security, and engineering teams.
What We're Looking For
Monitor and maintain critical infrastructure (HVAC, power distribution, fire suppression) to ensure continuous system uptime and align with RBC's zero-downtime objectives.,Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and rapid diagnosis/resolution of mechanical, electrical, or environmental anomalies.,Optimize temperature, humidity, and airflow using Building Management Systems (BMS) for IT hardware protection and energy efficiency (e.g., tracking PUE).,Enforce RBC safety protocols, OSHA standards, and local regulations, conduct emergency drills, and maintain audit documentation.,Log all system performance data, maintenance activities, and incidents in real-time, escalating critical issues and contributing to root-cause analysis reports.
