The Build Programmer will focus on Cloud infrastructure and maintaining a top-tier CI/CD Pipeline for Fortnite, ensuring efficient and effective operations for developers. This includes optimizing workflows, troubleshooting build infrastructure on-premise and in the cloud, developing solutions for pipeline efficiency, and supporting Fortnite releases through an on-call rotation.
Collaborate with developers, QA, and Production to optimize workflows for the Fortnite Project,Collaborate with supporting Programmer teams for backing infrastructure of the Fortnite CI/CD Pipeline,Maintain and troubleshoot the build infrastructure powering the Fortnite CI/CD Pipeline (on-premise and cloud),Develop creative solutions to keep the Fortnite CI/CD Pipeline operating efficiently and effectively,Own and support various tools and processes managed by the Fortnite Build Programming Team,Support Fortnite releases via an on-call rotation to handle critical pipeline issues
Experience with build systems and pipeline tools for a game or engine,Previous shipping platform experience (Sony PlayStation, Microsoft Xbox, Nintendo Switch, Android, iOS, etc.),Strong communication and collaboration skills,Experience with C#, batch files, shell scripts, and other scripting languages,Experience with Cloud Infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google, etc.),Experience with revision control (Perforce, Git, PlasticSCM, etc.)
