Saputo Inc. is seeking a Brine Attendant responsible for operating machinery, maintaining equipment, and ensuring the quality and appearance of cheese products. This role involves tasks such as filling and emptying cheese from brine cages, maintaining brine levels, cleaning UF and fines removal equipment, washing brine lines, operating CIP processes, and conducting quality checks like salinity and core temperatures. The attendant must also handle cleaning chemicals appropriately and adhere to food safety policies.
Operate machine and clean equipment, assist knock out, punch and pack out as needed.,Responsible for the quality and appearance of the product.,Operate brine cages by filling and/or emptying cheese.,Maintain brine level.,Maintain and clean the UF and fines removal equipment.,Wash brine lines in silo.,Operate CIP processes.,Complete salinity checks, core temperatures, product sampling, and brine sampling.,Must be able to appropriately handle and use cleaning chemicals.,Requires regular attendance.,Follow good sanitation and housekeeping practices.,Compliance with food safety policies.,Follow GMPs and SOPs.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.,Ability to read and understand instructions.,Proficient in use of the computer.
