Saputo Inc. is seeking a Break Relief-AM to ensure team members in process, filling, and packaging roles receive scheduled rest and meal breaks. This individual will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of various production equipment, including filling systems, automated case forming, packaging, and palletizing machinery. Key duties also involve setting up and replenishing fiber gluers/taping equipment, adhering to SOPs, conducting quality assurance checks like product sampling and seal integrity testing, generating pallet identification labels, and validating product case codes. The role involves contributing to a high-quality product environment and supporting global communities.
Provide rest breaks and meal periods for team members,Safe and efficient operation of production packaging and filling equipment (gabletop/bottling fill systems, automated case forming, packaging, case packing, palletizing),Set-up, operate, and replenish fiber gluer and/or taping equipment,Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOP’s) in detail without deviation,Collect routine product samples and perform routine seal integrity testing (leaks, tears, dye inspections),Generate pallet identification labels in accordance to the production schedule (verification of case quantity, product, product ID, production dates),Set-up case coding equipment and validate product case codes in accordance with code specifications,Verify and record accurate product case quantities
Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated work experience in food manufacturing (dairy food manufacturing experience preferred),Advanced quality/food safety training and/or certifications (a plus, but not required),Strong math skills,Strong technical skills, ability to operate and understand equipment controls, touch panels, and mechanical operations,Shift flexibility
Day shift position, 6am-6:30pm, on a 2-2-3 schedule
Shift flexibility, hands-on role in a 24/7 manufacturing facility, assigned to a team, potential for day, swing or night shifts, working weekends, work days and shifts may change to cover vacations/absences, plant downtime, or audits.
