Branch Operations Supervisor

Description

The Branch Operations Supervisor will join the RBC Dominion Securities Management team in Vernon, BC. This role involves supervising Branch Operations, with significant responsibility for internal controls, auditing, and implementing regulatory policies and procedures.

What We're Looking For

Oversight and processing of all branch cash transactions, including cheques, Bankwires and physical securities.

Ensure Branch and Cage reports are prepared, printed, reviewed, distributed, and presented to Branch Management for review, with potential sign-off responsibilities.

Ensure the Branch Operations team files all branch operations related reports and documents and oversees document retention according to internal controls.

Act as a branch designate as needed, including signature guarantee documents and signing cheques.

Oversight of account opening approvals, including reviewing documentation, identifying errors, and coaching staff on proper procedures.

Assist with participation in Branch Support Staff meetings to provide updates, address common errors, and share best practices in Branch Operations.

Ability to complete duties independently, seeking out own answers and solutions

Knowledge of RBC Dominion Securities' systems and procedures (asset)

Experience in the securities industry (asset)
