Branch Operations Assistant

Description

The Branch Operations Assistant provides initial support and problem resolution for various products and services. The role involves performing a combination of routine tasks and diverse administrative and operational duties, utilizing existing experience and knowledge of policies and practices.

What We're Looking For

Help manage incoming communications from clients, Advisors, and internal/external partners.,Provide attentive and accurate service to clients and respond to their needs.,Complete administrative tasks for the Management team, including managing office stationery orders, boardroom scheduling, and supporting the Branch Operations Manager.,Perform administrative and operational tasks to support Advisor teams, such as processing incoming/outgoing funds and handling account opening/maintenance documentation.,Answer inbound customer service calls, provide entry-level troubleshooting, and redirect phone calls.,Identify and determine appropriate courses of action for order issues.,Obtain initial loss information from customers and initiate claims processing.,Address minor coverage issues and resolve minor complaints, ensuring all customer communication is documented.

Meticulous attention to detail and excellent time management skills (Must-have).,Strong Microsoft Office skills (Must-have).,A professional approach to all situations to create a positive working environment (Must-have).,Ability to complete duties independently, seeking out own answers and solutions (Must-have).,Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE) (Nice-to-have).,Knowledge of RBC Dominion Securities' systems and procedures (Nice-to-have).,Experience in the securities industry (Nice-to-have).
