Description

The Branch Manager acts as a local market leader, inspiring and coaching a team to deliver exceptional client experiences. They are responsible for identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities, representing RBC in the community, and fostering collaboration across various internal partners. This role involves leading digital enablement and multichannel usage, as well as supporting staff development through consistent routines to maintain high employee capability and engagement.

What We're Looking For

Deliver results and support new client acquisitions through multiple channels and local partners.,Lead change and allocate resources to meet community needs, focusing on sales, revenue, and market share growth.,Ensure high employee engagement through recruiting, talent management, development, and career planning.,Pioneer superior retailing excellence to provide a memorable client experience.,Coach the team on client advice, problem resolution, and advocacy for digital and multichannel usage.,Address gaps identified through operational, credit effectiveness, and compliance reviews.,Mutual Funds accreditation (IFIC or CSC) and minimum 2 years of licensed mutual funds sales experience within the last 3 years.,Completed an acceptable mutual fund branch management exam offered by the CSI, or ability to write an exam within 4 months of start date.,Minimum 3 years in a people management role.,Entrepreneurial business acquisition mindset.,Ability to utilize digital channels, drive client awareness, and ensure the team enables clients with RBC digital access.

Ideal Candidate

Mutual Funds accreditation (IFIC or CSC).,Completion of an acceptable mutual fund branch management exam offered by the CSI, or ability to write it within 4 months of start date.,Minimum 3 years in a people management role.,Experience in both business and personal banking (Nice-to-have).
