Description

This is a hybrid leadership and client-facing role, with 40-50% of the time spent as a Financial Advisor and 50-75% in a Branch leadership capacity. The Branch Manager Advisor is responsible for driving retail performance, fostering business growth, acquiring new clients, and deepening existing client relationships. As a Financial Advisor, the individual provides comprehensive advice on everyday banking, investments, and credit, addressing both complex personal and business financial needs.

What We're Looking For

Manage a team to deliver exceptional client experiences by leading with advice and utilizing RBC's full capabilities to meet client needs.,Champion digital enablement by educating clients on self-service options and encouraging digital interactions.,Lead the team by actively engaging clients, both inside and outside the branch, providing complex advice solutions, and modeling teamwork.,Maintain local community connections, motivating the team and RBC Partners to proactively engage with clients and Centers of Influence.,Strategically manage Advisor team capacity, leveraging skills, capabilities, and understanding of traffic flow to maximize client contacts.,Role model, coach, and champion RBC's Leadership Model, demonstrating empathy, kindness, and understanding in all interactions.,Advocate for inclusion, fostering an an environment where team members and clients feel valued, belong, and can achieve their full potential.,Develop and coach team members to improve proficiency and capability, driving performance and enabling career progression.

Ideal Candidate

Valid Mutual Funds accreditation (Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course),Completed Branch Compliance Officer course offered by the Canadian Securities Institute, or ability to write an exam within 4 months of start date.,Entrepreneurial business acquisition mindset,Bilingualism (English and French) required for client service.,Minimum 3 years in a people management role (Nice-to-have),Experience in both business and personal banking (Nice-to-have),Quebec: Completed Certificate of Achievement – Personal Finance, offered through the Canadian Securities Institute (Nice-to-have)
