Bilingual New Business Case Coordinator

Description

This role at Royal Bank of Canada involves managing new business applications for life and/or living benefits, ensuring all requirements for underwriting risk assessment are met. The coordinator will serve as the primary contact for external Account Administrators, providing proactive updates and managing client expectations throughout the new business and underwriting process. Key responsibilities also include identifying and resolving case-specific delays, maintaining detailed notes, and offering feedback for process improvements.

What We're Looking For

Act as the primary contact for external Account Administrators throughout the New Business and underwriting process.,Set and manage client expectations.,Provide proactive communications to appropriate MGA Administrator or account contact detailing the status of all requirement activity.,Provide feedback and recommendations identifying trends/gaps and training opportunities related to the processing of Life and Living Benefit new business applications.,Identify and resolve any case specific delays to ensure all necessary processing occurs within specified service level agreements.,Maintain up to date new business Underwriting Pro notes summarizing actions taken, inquiries received, and communications sent/received.

Ideal Candidate

Must be fluently bilingual in both English and French, written and spoken.,Proven ability to proactively manage a high volume caseload while managing changing priorities.,Ability to provide quality and effective communication to all clients.,Responsiveness to inquiries with a sense of urgency.,Internal and external communication must be accurate, clear, and concise.,Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with multiple internal and external partners.,High degree of professionalism coupled with the ability to handle pressure.,Insurance industry knowledge or experience.,Nice to have: LOMA, ACS College graduate, New Business or relative experience.
