Description

The Investment Services Representative at RBC Direct Investing will provide exceptional client service through phone and electronic channels, identifying client-centric solutions and proactively matching client needs with available products and services. Key responsibilities include upholding RBC's professional image, promoting digital capabilities, accurately executing trade instructions, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies in a fast-paced team environment.

What We're Looking For

Proactively identify client needs and guide them to appropriate products and services through effective communication.,Meet specified performance metrics for all client interactions (verbal and written).,Maintain a professional image of RBC and RBC Direct Investing Inc.,Actively promote and educate clients on the RBC Direct Investing website and mobile capabilities, encouraging self-service.,Deliver helpful, engaging, knowledgeable, accurate, responsive, and professional services, including prompt and courteous trade execution via phone or electronic means, adhering to regulatory guidelines.,Understand and apply industry rules and regulations (e.g., CIRO, Provincial) and RBC policies and procedures.,Accurately execute client instructions within defined authorities and ensure clients meet trade settlement obligations.

Ideal Candidate

University or College degree/diploma, or a minimum of 1 year of relevant business experience in a client service role.,Completion and maintenance of standing (per regulatory requirements) for the Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification level 1 or higher.,CIRO Mandatory Conduct Training must be completed within 15 days of obtaining licensing approval from CIRO.,Derivatives Exam must be completed within 35 weeks of the start date.

Work Hours

37.5 hours/week. Business hours: Sunday 6:00pm EST to Friday 8:00pm EST (overnights included); Saturday 9:00am to 6:00pm EST. Must be flexible to work a variety of shifts.

Special Commitments

Must be flexible to work a variety of shifts within specified business hours.,Candidates must live within a one-hour commutable distance from a Centre or Hub.,Completion of required regulatory exams is mandatory.
