Description

This role supports RBC Financial Planners, Investment Advisors, and other professionals across Canada by providing financial advice and planning solutions to enhance the client experience. The consultant will act as a technical expert for various financial planning tools within the Family Office Services (FOS) team, collaborating with Wealth Management and RBC Personal & Commercial Banking. This position emphasizes financial planning consulting with a focus on software development, not technology support.

What We're Looking For

Assist financial planning roles with corporate-approved financial advice and planning tools to respond to client queries, uncover hidden assets, retain business, and develop referrals.,Conduct Quality Assurance (QA) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new or updated tools.,Provide ongoing coaching to users or direct them to resources.,Create and update job aids, user guides, and other resources, ensuring financial advice and planning tools, reports, questionnaires, and marketing materials are regularly updated.,Contribute to developing and updating training programs and materials, and occasionally deliver training to the sales force.,Participate in various working groups and cross-departmental projects.,Bilingualism (English and French) is required for interacting with RBC partners and employees across Canada.,Undergraduate education in a related field, preferably Finance or Wealth Management.,CFP, IQPF, QAFP, F. PI., CLU, RRC, or PFP designation.,Knowledge of financial planning software (Conquest preferred).,Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in the financial planning/wealth management industry.,Knowledge of Canadian taxation and pension legislation.,Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.,Strong research skills, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data.,Ability to manage and prioritize workload with competing deadlines.,Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
