This role involves being an RBC ambassador within the Credit Management and Recoveries team, providing exceptional client experiences through financial advice and payment solutions to clients facing financial difficulties. The officer will champion the RBC brand, supporting clients in various interactions and building client loyalty and trust.
Engage with clients through outbound calls regarding outstanding payments on credit cards, personal, and business accounts. Educate and advise on credit solutions, negotiate tailored payment arrangements for overdue accounts, and focus on helping clients by responding empathetically to questions and offering solutions based on their financial situation. Resolve problems at the first point of contact and maintain relationships with partners. Contribute to team results and manage risks by adhering to compliance routines, processes, and controls. Must have proven interpersonal, communication, and problem-resolution skills, the ability to build rapport, and a desire to build exceptional client experiences. Flexibility to work various shifts (Monday to Friday 8 AM-11 PM EST and Saturday 8 AM-7 PM EST).
Past experience in a customer service role providing needs-based solutions, negotiation skills, experience working in a team and metrics-based performance environment, previous experience in a Contact/Call Centre and in a fast-paced financial and/or service industry.
37.5 hours/week; shifts Monday-Friday 8 AM-11 PM EST and Saturday 8 AM-7 PM EST.
Flexibility to work various shifts.
