Bell Canada is seeking a dynamic, curious, and results-oriented BI Advanced Analyst II for Corporate Security. This role involves acting as a data detective to identify and mitigate security risks, protecting Bell's customers and assets. The position requires a blend of technical expertise in data analysis and strong business acumen to understand the 'why' behind data. The analyst will join a collaborative team focused on innovation and solving complex puzzles to drive change.

What We're Looking For

Take ownership of detection and prevention coverage for suspicious transactions.,Design, develop, test, and maintain robust threat detection strategies using Enterprise Management Systems and advanced analytics.,Utilize SQL (GCP, Oracle, Teradata, SAS, Hadoop) to mine large datasets.,Create and maintain dashboards (Tableau, SAP BO, Microstrategy) to visualize trends for diverse audiences.,Proactively analyze the landscape to identify gaps in current threat strategies.,Monitor volumes and impact, prioritizing new strategies that maximize security while minimizing customer friction.,Identify opportunities to apply AI/Machine Learning models to threat detection and define requirements for the AI development team.,Build strong, effective relationships with Operations teams, acting as a bridge between technical data and business outcomes.,Work within an agile methodology to deliver value quickly, adapting to ever-changing criminal tactics.,Proficiency in SQL (complex queries, stored procedures, data structures), experience working with large enterprise data warehouses and the tools to process the data (GCP Big Query, Cloud Composer / Airflow, Dataflow / Beam, Looker, Tableau, etc.).,Ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights with a focus on results and bottom-line impact.,Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and manage multiple deadlines autonomously.

Ideal Candidate

Domain Expertise: Experience in Fraud Detection, Cyber Security, E-Commerce, or Telecommunications.,Cloud & Big Data: Experience with Public Cloud (GCP, AWS) and distributed file systems (Hadoop).,Visualization Tools: Advanced knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau or Microstrategy.,ETL & Scripting: Experience with ETL tools (GCP BigQuery, Dataflow / Beam), SQL, Python.,AI/ML Knowledge: Understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning concepts.,Project Management: Experience with JIRA and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
