BI & Reporting Operations Manager
Description
This role at The Toronto-Dominion Bank, reporting to the Senior Manager, Business Operations & Support, provides operational and application support for TD Data's BI & Reporting applications. Key responsibilities include centralizing operational, cloud cost, OKR, and KPI reporting, developing a consolidation strategy for enterprise-level metrics, and delivering intuitive dashboards and data visualizations to support business decision-making. The role is integral to the TD Data Enterprise Team, aiming to deliver fast, trusted data at a lower cost to stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
Lead and execute data/business processing/reporting using internal data sources.
Support relevant projects and initiatives to meet data and reporting requirements.
Bridge the gap between analytic outputs and business insights, improving information presentation/delivery.
Ensure adherence to enterprise frameworks and methodologies for BI & Reporting.
Manage relationships with corporate and/or control functions for alignment with enterprise/regulatory requirements.
Stay knowledgeable on emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements.
Assess/identify key issues and escalate to appropriate levels and stakeholders.
Develop, contribute to, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
Automate workflows and notifications using Power Automate.
Integrate and transform data from multiple sources into Power BI.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective BI solutions.
Build and maintain effective relationships across business, technology, and partner teams.
Manage the request pipeline, resource capacity, and a pool of technical specialists to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Coach and support direct reports, driving continuous improvement in BI processes.
Ideal Candidate
Graduate's degree preferred with either progressive project work experience or 5+ years of relevant experience; higher degree education and research tenure can be counted.
Tableau or Power BI experience is an asset.
Report or dashboard development experience is an asset.
Experience working directly with data and its underlying usage.
Microsoft Azure experience is a benefit.
Working knowledge of Agile (SCRUM or KANBAN) methodology is an asset.
Knowledge of data policy and governance principles.
Minimum Education
Graduate's Degree (preferred) or equivalent experience
