The Banking Associate delivers TD’s Brand promise at a store location by accurately completing everyday banking transactions, providing advice, and offering educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals. This role involves building customer relationships, identifying financial needs, and ensuring compliance with banking regulations.
Perform a wide range of tasks including processing customer transactions and opening new accounts.,Educate customers on banking products and services.,Utilize TD's systems and tools to acquire and deepen customer relationships.,Identify customer financial needs to promote products/services or refer to appropriate team members.,Service customers on both teller line and platform, handling personal deposit accounts, debit/credit card issues, and digital banking.,Engage in lead management activities, including self-generated leads, partner referrals, and customer outreach.,Consistently provide legendary customer service.,Establish and nurture customer relationships by displaying product knowledge and active listening.,Manage wait times and engage in lobby leadership.,Ensure compliance with company guidelines and regulations (e.g., Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act).,Accurately process cash/deposit/withdrawal transactions and other account servicing requests.,Perform everyday transactions such as opening/closing accounts, depositing/cashing checks, and updating addresses.,Apply customer authentication principles and due diligence.,Maintain cash drawers, including limits, security, and balancing.,Act as a Dual Control agent when required.,Contribute to a positive work environment and align with TD Model, Brand, and Culture.,Be an active participant in personal performance and development.,Collaborate with team members and seek opportunities for improvement.,Adhere to and participate in TD's Shared Commitments.,Understand and comply with TD Code of Conduct and compliance/risk programs.
High school diploma or GED.,1 year experience working with customers (volunteering, education, military experience preferred).,Demonstrated Customer Service skills preferred.,Ability to work during operating hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.,Teller experience preferred.,Required to complete Teller training and part 1 of platform training upon hire.,Notary License preferred.
