Description

The Banking Associate delivers TD's brand promise by accurately completing daily banking transactions and offering advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals.

What We're Looking For

Perform a wide range of tasks including processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on banking products and services.

Deliver end-to-end advice to customers, including building trust, providing consultative support, and advocating with proactive insights.

Utilize TD's systems and tools to engage with customers, acquire, and deepen relationships.

Understand customer financial needs to identify opportunities for promotion, education, and referrals.

Accurately complete everyday banking transactions on both the teller line and platform.

Service customers by opening/closing personal deposit accounts, handling debit/credit card issues, and assisting with mobile and online banking.

Connect with customers, provide financial advice, and deepen relationships through lead management activities.

Consistently provide legendary customer service.

Establish and nurture customer relationships through product knowledge and active listening.

Manage wait times for Banker meetings.

Engage in lobby leadership as the first point of contact for customer inquiries and resolutions.

Understand and support the Bank's customer service strategy.

Drive referrals to Store colleagues and partners.

Ensure tasks are performed within established policy and procedures and complete all required job-specific and compliance-related training.

Ensure ongoing compliance with internal/external audit and regulatory requirements.

Accurately process cash/deposit/withdrawal transactions and other account servicing requests.

Make decisions and process everyday transactions such as opening/closing accounts, depositing checks, reordering debit cards, or updating addresses.

Apply customer authentication principles, compliance regulations, and due diligence to new account openings and transactions.

Efficiently perform transactions and maintain cash drawers, including limits, security, and balancing.

Act as a Dual Control agent when required.

Follow all required open/close procedures.

Ideal Candidate

High school diploma or GED,1 year experience working with customers in any capacity (volunteering, education, military experience preferred),Teller experience preferred,Required to complete Teller training and part 1 of platform training upon hire,Notary License preferred
