Description

The Banking Associate at a TD store location is a banking professional responsible for accurately processing daily transactions, providing advice, and educating customers on products, services, and tools to help them achieve financial goals. They build trust, offer consultative support, and proactive recommendations, while identifying opportunities to deepen customer relationships.

What We're Looking For

Perform a wide range of tasks across multiple areas within a store location, including processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on banking products and services.,Deliver end-to-end advice by building trust, providing consultative support, and advocating with proactive insights.,Utilize TD's systems and tools to engage with customers to acquire and deepen relationships.,Understand customer financial needs to identify opportunities for promotion, education, and referrals.,Accurately complete everyday banking transactions on the teller line or platform.,Service customers with opening/closing personal deposit accounts, everyday bank transactions, debit/credit card issues, regulation E, and digital banking.,Connect with customers, provide financial advice, and deepen relationships through lead management activities, including self-generated leads, partner referrals, customer outreach, and appointment setting.,Consistently provide legendary customer service while transacting, promoting, educating, and referring TD Products.,Establish and nurture customer relationships by displaying product knowledge and actively listening.,Manage wait times for Banker meetings.,Engage in lobby leadership and act as the first point of contact for customer inquiries and resolution.,Understand and support the Bank's customer service strategy.,Consider the impact of decisions on TD, customers, and stakeholders.,Drive referrals to store colleagues and partners for complex financial needs.,Ensure tasks are performed within established policy and procedures.,Successfully complete all required job-specific, compliance-related training.,Understand, utilize, and follow compliance/risk and control programs.,Ensure ongoing compliance with internal/external audit and regulatory requirements.,Provide prompt and comprehensive responses to all audit, regulator, and compliance requests.,Maintain appropriate records of action plans.,Be knowledgeable of and comply with TD Code of Conduct.,Ensure compliance with company guidelines and regulations (Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act) when completing operational activities.,Accurately process cash/deposit/withdrawal transactions and other account servicing requests.,Process everyday transactions such as opening/closing accounts, depositing/cashing checks, reordering debit cards, or updating addresses.,Ensure compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures.,Apply customer authentication principles, compliance regulations, and due diligence to new account openings and transactions.,Accurately and efficiently perform transactions and manage cash drawers.,Follow policy and procedure for Customer Authentication.,Act as Dual Control agent when required.,Follow all required open/close procedures.

Ideal Candidate

High school diploma or GED.,1 year experience working with customers in any capacity (volunteering, education, military experience preferred).,Demonstrated Customer Service skills preferred.,Ability to work during operating hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.,Teller experience preferred.,Required to complete Teller training and part 1 of platform training upon hire.,Proficient in Microsoft Office.,Notary License preferred.
