The Banking Associate plays a crucial role in a store location, responsible for accurately processing daily banking transactions and offering advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals. This involves performing various tasks, from opening new accounts to engaging with customers to deepen relationships through advice, guidance, and lead management activities. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, understanding financial needs to identify opportunities for promotion or referral, and ensuring compliance with banking regulations.

What We're Looking For

Accurately complete everyday banking transactions.,Provide advice and educational support on services, products, and tools.,Perform a wide range of tasks including processing customer transactions and opening new accounts.,Build trust with customers through educational content and tools.,Provide consultative support and proactive insights.,Utilize TD's systems and tools to engage with customers and deepen relationships.,Understand customer financial needs to identify opportunities for product promotion or referral.,Service customers on both the teller line and platform for various needs (opening/closing accounts, debit/credit card issues, digital banking).,Connect with customers, provide financial advice, and deepen relationships through lead management activities (self-generated, partner referrals, campaigns, customer outreach).,Consistently provide legendary customer service.,Establish and nurture customer relationships through product knowledge and active listening.,Manage wait times and act as the first point of contact for customer inquiries and resolutions.,Ensure tasks are performed within established policy and procedures.,Successfully complete all required job specific, compliance-related training.,Understand and follow compliance/risk and control programs.,Ensure ongoing compliance with internal/external audit and regulatory requirements.,Accurately process cash/deposit/withdrawal transactions and other account servicing requests.,Decision and process everyday transactions like opening/closing accounts, cashing checks, updating addresses.,Apply customer authentication principles, compliance regulations, and due diligence.,Accurately and efficiently perform transactions, maintaining cash limits and securing cash drawers.,Contribute to a positive work environment, aligning with TD Model, Brand and Culture.,Be an active participant in personal performance and development activities.,Collaborate with team members and actively seek opportunities to improve work delivery.,Adhere and participate in TD's Shared Commitments.

Ideal Candidate

High school diploma or GED,1 year experience working with customers in any capacity (volunteering, education, military experience preferred),Demonstrated Customer Service skills preferred,Teller experience preferred,Required to complete Teller training and part 1 of platform training upon hire,Notary License preferred
