The Banking Associate plays a crucial role in delivering TD's Brand promise by accurately processing banking transactions and providing customers with advice and educational support on various financial products, services, and tools to help them achieve their financial objectives. Responsibilities include performing a diverse range of in-store tasks such as processing transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers. The role emphasizes building trust, offering consultative support, and providing proactive insights to foster and deepen customer relationships. Banking Associates are also expected to identify customer financial needs and appropriately refer them to other team members or internal bank partners.
Accurately complete everyday banking transactions.,Provide advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to customers.,Perform a wide range of tasks including processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on banking products and services.,Deliver end-to-end advice by building trust, offering consultative support, and providing proactive insights and recommendations.,Utilize TD's systems and tools to engage with customers to acquire and deepen relationships.,Understand customer financial needs to identify opportunities to promote products/services or refer to appropriate internal Bank partners.,Consistently provide legendary customer service while transacting, promoting, educating, and referring TD Products.,Establish and nurture customer relationships through product knowledge, active listening, and offering solutions or partner referrals.,Ability to work during operating hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.,Required to complete Teller training and part 1 of platform training upon hire.,Ensure ongoing compliance with internal/external audit and regulatory requirements.,Provide prompt and comprehensive responses to all external audit, regulator, and compliance requests and findings.,Manage wait times to meet with a Banker by scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling client meetings.
High school diploma or GED.,1 year experience working with customers in any capacity (can be demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military experience) preferred.,Demonstrated Customer Service skills preferred.,Teller experience preferred.,Notary License preferred.
