Banking Associate - Orange (20 hour)

Description

This role involves delivering the TD Brand promise at a branch location by accurately processing daily banking transactions and offering advice and educational support on financial products, services, and tools to help customers achieve their financial objectives.

What We're Looking For

Perform a wide range of tasks including processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on banking products and services.,Deliver end-to-end advice by building trust, providing consultative support, and offering proactive insights.,Utilize TD's systems and tools to engage with customers, acquire, and deepen relationships.,Understand customer financial needs to identify opportunities for promotion, education, or referral to appropriate team members.,Accurately complete everyday banking transactions while identifying customer financial needs.,Service customers on both the teller line and platform for various banking needs, including account openings/closings, debit/credit card issues, and digital banking support.,Connect with customers, provide financial advice, and deepen relationships through lead management activities.,Consistently provide legendary customer service.,Establish and nurture customer relationships through product knowledge and active listening.,Manage wait times, engage in lobby leadership, and act as a first point of contact for customer inquiries and resolutions.,Understand and support the Bank's customer service strategy.,Consider the impact of decisions on TD, its customers, and stakeholders.,Drive referrals to Store colleagues and partners for complex financial needs.,Ensure tasks are performed within established policy and procedures.,Successfully complete all required job-specific and compliance-related training.,Understand, utilize, and follow compliance/risk and control programs.,Ensure ongoing compliance with internal/external audit and regulatory requirements.,Provide prompt and comprehensive responses to all audit, regulator, and compliance requests.,Maintain appropriate records of action plans.,Ensure compliance with company guidelines and regulations like the Bank Secrecy Act and Patriot Act.,Accurately process cash/deposit/withdrawal transactions and other account servicing requests.,Process everyday transactions such as account openings/closings, check deposits/cashing, and address updates.,Ensure compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures.,Apply customer authentication principles and due diligence to new account openings and transactions.,Accurately and efficiently perform transactions, manage cash drawers, and maintain cash limits.,Follow policy and procedure for Customer Authentication and act as Dual Control agent when required.,Follow all required open/close procedures.,Contribute to a positive work environment, participate in personal performance and development, and act as a brand champion.,Collaborate with team members to contribute to team and organizational success.,Actively seek opportunities to improve work delivery with high attention to quality standards.,Take ownership of own career and aspirations, seeking diverse feedback for continuous development.,Positively embrace change and adhere to TD's Shared Commitments, modeling quality service.,Be engaged in advancing and sustaining a unique, inclusive culture.,May train and act as a mentor to newer colleagues.

Ideal Candidate

High school diploma or GED.,1 year experience working with customers in any capacity (volunteering, education, military experience preferred).,Demonstrated Customer Service skills preferred.,Teller experience preferred.,Required to complete Teller training and part 1 of platform training upon hire.,Notary License preferred.

Special Commitments

Required to complete Teller training and part 1 of platform training upon hire.,Ability to work during operating hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.,Occasional domestic travel.
