Banking Associate - Kennebunk

Description

This role as a Banking Associate involves performing a variety of tasks within a TD Bank store, including processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on banking products, services, and digital tools. The associate is responsible for building customer trust, providing financial advice, and identifying opportunities to deepen customer relationships. They will handle lead management, customer outreach, and ensure compliance with banking regulations and policies.

What We're Looking For

Accurately complete everyday banking transactions.,Provide advice and educational support on services, products, and tools.,Utilize TD's systems and tools to engage with Customers to acquire and deepen relationships.,Understand customer financial needs to identify opportunities to promote products and services or refer to appropriate team members.,Service customers on both teller line and platform, including opening/closing personal deposit accounts, handling debit/credit card issues, regulation E, mobile and online banking.,Connect with customers and deepen relationships through lead management activities, customer outreach, and appointments.,Consistently provide legendary customer service.,Manage wait times and orchestrate customer walk-in traffic.,Ensure tasks are performed within established policy and procedures and complete all required job-specific and compliance-related training.,Process cash/deposit/withdrawal transactions and other account servicing requests.,Ensure compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures (e.g., Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act).,Accurately and efficiently perform transactions and manage cash drawers.,Contribute to a positive work environment and collaborate with team members.,Actively seek opportunities to improve work delivery and take ownership of career development.

Ideal Candidate

High school diploma or GED.,1 year experience working with customers in any capacity (volunteering, education, military experience preferred).,Completion of Teller training and part 1 of platform training upon hire.,Notary License preferred.
