Description

The Banking Associate is a professional who delivers TD's Brand promise at a store location. This role involves accurately completing daily banking transactions, providing advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve financial goals. It also includes performing a range of tasks across multiple areas within a store, such as opening new accounts and educating customers on banking products.

What We're Looking For

Perform a wide range of tasks across multiple areas within a Store location, including processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on banking products and services.,Deliver end-to-end advice to customers, building trust with educational content, providing consultative support, and advocating with proactive insights.,Utilize TD's systems and tools to engage with Customers to acquire and deepen relationships.,Understand customer financial needs to identify opportunities to promote and educate on products, services, or refer to appropriate team members.,Accurately complete everyday banking transactions on the teller line or platform.,Service customers on both the teller line and platform, including opening/closing personal deposit accounts, managing debit/credit card issues, and assisting with digital banking.,Connect with customers, provide financial advice, and deepen relationships through lead management activities.,Consistently provide legendary customer service while transacting, promoting, educating, and referring TD Products.,Establish and nurture customer relationships by displaying product knowledge and actively listening.,Manage wait times and engage in lobby leadership.,Drive referrals to Store colleagues and partners.,Ensure tasks are performed within established policy and procedures and complete all required job-specific and compliance-related training.,Ensure ongoing compliance with internal/external audit and regulatory requirements.

Ideal Candidate

High school diploma or GED,1 year experience working with customers in any capacity (preferred),Demonstrated Customer Service skills (preferred),Ability to work during operating hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays,Teller experience (preferred),Required to complete Teller training and part 1 of platform training upon hire,Notary License (preferred)
