The Banking Associate plays a crucial role at a TD Bank store location by accurately handling daily banking transactions and offering advice and educational support on products, services, and tools to help customers achieve their financial objectives.
Perform a wide range of tasks including processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on banking products and services.,Build trust and provide consultative support, proactive insights, and recommendations to customers.,Utilize TD's systems and tools to deepen customer relationships.,Identify customer financial needs to promote products/services or refer to appropriate team members.,Accurately complete everyday banking transactions on the teller line or platform.,Service customers with opening/closing personal deposit accounts, debit/credit card issues, regulation E, and digital banking.,Connect with customers, provide financial advice, and deepen relationships through lead management activities (outbound calls, SMS, appointments).,Consistently provide legendary customer service.,Establish and nurture customer relationships through product knowledge and active listening.,Manage wait times for bankers and orchestrate customer walk-in traffic.,Understand and support the Bank's customer service strategy.,Drive referrals to store colleagues and partners.,Ensure tasks are performed within established policy and procedures.,Successfully complete all required job-specific, compliance-related training.,Understand, utilize, and follow compliance/risk and control programs.,Ensure ongoing compliance with internal/external audit and regulatory requirements.,Accurately process cash/deposit/withdrawal transactions and other account servicing requests.,Apply customer authentication principles, compliance regulations, and due diligence.,Accurately and efficiently perform transactions accountable for cash drawers.,Contribute to a positive work environment, participate in personal performance and development activities.,Collaborate with team members and actively seek opportunities to improve work delivery.,Embrace change and adhere to TD's Shared Commitments.
High school diploma or GED,1 year experience working with customers (volunteering, education, military experience preferred),Demonstrated Customer Service skills preferred,Teller experience preferred,Required to complete Teller training and part 1 of platform training upon hire,Notary License preferred
