The Banking Associate is a banking professional responsible for upholding TD's brand promise within a store location. This role involves accurately processing daily banking transactions and providing advice, educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals. It encompasses a wide range of tasks, including opening new accounts and guiding customers on various banking offerings.

What We're Looking For

Perform a wide range of tasks across multiple areas within a store location, including processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on banking products and services.,Deliver end-to-end advice, building trust through educational content, providing consultative support, and advocating with proactive insights.,Utilize TD's systems and tools to engage with customers to acquire and deepen relationships.,Understand customer financial needs to identify opportunities for promotion, education, or referral to appropriate team members.,Accurately complete everyday banking transactions on both the teller line and platform, including opening/closing personal deposit accounts, managing debit/credit card issues, and supporting mobile/online banking.,Connect with customers, provide financial advice, and deepen relationships through lead management activities such as self-generated leads, partner referrals, customer outreach, and appointment setting.,Consistently provide legendary customer service while transacting, promoting, educating, and referring TD Products.,Establish and nurture customer relationships by consistently displaying product knowledge and actively listening to customer needs.,Manage wait times for banker meetings and engage in lobby leadership as the first point of contact for customer inquiries.,Understand and support the Bank's customer service strategy and consider the impact of decisions on TD, its customers, and stakeholders.,Ensure tasks are performed within established policy and procedures and successfully complete all required job-specific, compliance-related training.,Understand, utilize, and follow compliance/risk and control programs, ensuring ongoing compliance with internal/external audit and regulatory requirements.,Accurately process cash/deposit/withdrawal transactions and other account servicing requests.,Apply customer authentication principles, compliance regulations, and due diligence to new account openings and transactions.,Accurately and efficiently perform transactions, manage cash drawers, and secure cash stations.,Follow policy and procedure for Customer Authentication and act as a Dual Control agent when required.,Contribute to a positive work environment, participate in personal performance and development, and act as a brand champion.,Collaborate with team members, seek opportunities to improve work delivery, and take ownership of career development.,Positively embrace change, adhere to TD's Shared Commitments, and model quality service.,Be engaged in advancing and sustaining an inclusive culture that reflects TD's diversity agenda.

Ideal Candidate

High school diploma or GED,1 year experience working with customers (preferred, can be demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military experience),Demonstrated Customer Service skills (preferred),Teller experience (preferred),Required to complete Teller training and part 1 of platform training upon hire,Notary License (preferred)
