Description

The Banking Associate is a professional banking role at a store location, responsible for accurately completing everyday banking transactions, providing advice, and offering educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals. This role focuses on building customer relationships, identifying financial needs, and referring to appropriate experts while ensuring a positive customer experience.

What We're Looking For

Performs a wide range of tasks including processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on banking products and services. Delivers end-to-end advice by building trust, providing consultative support, and advocating with proactive insights. Utilizes TD's systems to engage with customers to acquire and deepen relationships. Connects with customers, provides financial advice, and deepens relationships through lead management activities, including self-generated leads, partner referrals, campaign leads, customer outreach, and appointment setting. Consistently provides legendary customer service while transacting, promoting, educating, and referring TD Products. Establishes and nurtures customer relationships by displaying product knowledge and actively listening. Manages wait times, engages in lobby leadership, and acts as the first point of contact for customer inquiries and resolution. Ensures compliance with company guidelines and regulations, accurately processes cash/deposit/withdrawal transactions, and applies customer authentication principles. Contributes to a positive work environment, participates in personal performance and development, acts as a brand champion, and collaborates with team members.

Ideal Candidate

High school diploma or GED. 1 year of experience working with customers (can be demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military experience) is preferred. Required to complete Teller training and part 1 of platform training upon hire. Notary License preferred.

Minimum Education

High school diploma or GED

Hard Skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office
Teller experience preferred.
