Description

This role focuses on client-focused sales and problem-solving to enhance client interactions. The Banking Advisor will assist clients with their daily banking, credit, and investment needs, acting as an RBC ambassador to add value and collaborate with partners to help clients achieve their financial goals. Key aspects include demonstrating digital banking, onboarding new clients, and referring complex opportunities to specialists.

What We're Looking For

Proactively engage with clients in branches and the community to uncover banking needs, provide advice, and identify sales/referral opportunities.

Focus on client education and digital demonstration to deliver memorable client experiences, drive sales, and retain business.

Assist clients with a full range of financial transactions based on their initiated contact.

Actively listen and engage clients to understand their individual needs.

Proactively resolve and prevent client banking problems.

Cultivate and maintain relationships with partners for business opportunities and referrals.

Ideal Candidate

Mutual Funds accreditation, or willingness to obtain it (e.g., Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course)

Demonstrated passion for client focus and success in a target-driven sales environment

Problem-solving and people skills with ability to build strong relationships

Flexibility, eagerness to learn, strong personal ethics, and hunger for success

Digital literacy across a broad range of devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops)

Bilingualism (English and French) required

Strong track record of building and maintaining client relationships in the finance or service sector (nice-to-have)
