Description

The Banking Advisor position at Royal Bank of Canada is a client-focused sales role that leverages problem-solving skills to enhance client interactions. The advisor will assist clients with their daily banking, credit, and investment needs, acting as an RBC ambassador to help clients achieve their financial goals. This involves providing advice, demonstrating digital banking tools, onboarding new clients, and referring complex cases to specialists to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.

Proactively engage with clients in branches and the community to identify banking needs and provide advice.,Focus on client education and digital technology to enhance client experience and drive sales.,Assist clients with a full range of financial transactions.,Actively listen to understand individual client needs.,Resolve and prevent client banking problems.,Cultivate and maintain relationships with partners for business opportunities and referrals.

Ideal Candidate

Mutual Funds accreditation, or willingness to obtain (e.g., Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course).,Demonstrated passion for client focus and success in a target-driven sales environment.,Problem-solving and people skills to build strong relationships and proactively connect with clients.,Flexibility, eagerness to learn, strong personal ethics, and a hunger for success.,Digital literacy across a broad range of devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops).,Strong track record of building and maintaining client relationships in the finance or service sector (nice-to-have).
