Description

This role at RBC focuses on leveraging client-focused sales expertise and problem-solving skills to enhance client interactions. The Banking Advisor will assist clients with their daily banking, credit, and investment requirements, acting as an RBC ambassador to add value and collaborate with partners to help clients achieve their financial goals. The position involves educating clients on digital banking, onboarding new clients, and referring complex opportunities to specialists to foster client satisfaction and loyalty.

What We're Looking For

Proactively engage with clients in the branch and community to identify banking needs, provide advice, and discover sales and referral opportunities.,Educate and demonstrate banking processes to clients, utilizing technology for a memorable experience, driving sales, and retaining business.,Assist clients with a full range of financial transactions upon their initiation.,Actively listen and engage with clients to understand their individual needs.,Proactively resolve and prevent client banking problems.,Cultivate and maintain relationships with partners to maximize business opportunities and referrals.

Ideal Candidate

Mutual Funds accreditation, or willingness to obtain it (e.g., Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course).,Demonstrated passion for client-first approach and success in a hands-on, target-driven sales environment.,Strong problem-solving and people skills, with the ability to build robust relationships and proactively connect with clients.,Flexibility, eagerness to learn, strong personal ethics, and a drive for success.,Digital literacy across various devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.).,Nice-to-have: Strong track record of building and maintaining client relationships in the finance or service sector.
