Description

The Banking Advisor role focuses on client-focused sales and problem-solving to enhance client interactions. Responsibilities include assisting clients with everyday banking, credit, and investment needs, acting as an RBC ambassador, and collaborating with partners to help clients achieve their financial goals. The position emphasizes creating meaningful client experiences through digital banking demonstrations, new client onboarding, and referring complex opportunities to specialists.

What We're Looking For

Proactively engage with clients in all areas of the branch and community to identify banking needs, provide advice, and uncover sales/referral opportunities.,Focus on client education and demonstration, leveraging technology to deliver an exceptional client experience and drive sales.,Respond to client-initiated contact, assisting with a full range of financial transactions.,Actively listen to clients to understand their individual needs.,Proactively resolve and prevent client banking problems.,Cultivate and maintain relationships with partners for business opportunities and referrals.,Mutual Funds accreditation, or willingness to obtain it (e.g., Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course).,Demonstrated passion for client-first approach and success in a target-driven sales environment.,Strong problem-solving and people skills with the ability to build strong relationships.,Flexibility, eagerness to learn, strong personal ethics, and drive for success.,Digital literacy across various devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops).,Bilingualism (English and French) is required to serve both English and French-speaking clients.
