Description

This role focuses on client-centric sales and problem-solving, assisting clients with their everyday banking, credit, and investment requirements. The Banking Advisor acts as an RBC ambassador, delivering valuable client experiences by demonstrating digital banking, onboarding new clients, and referring complex needs to specialists to foster client satisfaction and loyalty.

What We're Looking For

Proactively engage with clients in the branch and community to uncover banking needs, provide advice, and identify sales and referral opportunities.,Focus on client education and demonstration, leveraging technology to enhance the client experience and drive sales.,Respond to client-initiated contact, assisting with a full range of financial transactions.,Actively listen and engage clients in conversation to understand their individual needs.,Proactively take ownership of resolving and preventing client banking problems.,Cultivate and maintain relationships with partners to maximize business opportunities and referrals.,Mutual Funds accreditation, or willingness to obtain it (e.g., Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course).,Demonstrated passion for client service and success in a hands-on, target-driven sales environment.,Problem-solving and people skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and proactively connect with clients.,Flexibility, eagerness to learn, strong personal ethics, and a hunger for success.,Digital literacy across a broad range of devices (e.g., smartphones, tablets, laptops).,Bilingualism (English and French) required.

Ideal Candidate

Mutual Funds accreditation, or willingness to obtain it (i.e., Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course).,Strong track record of building and maintaining client relationships in the finance or service sector (nice-to-have).
