This position focuses on leveraging client-focused sales expertise and problem-solving abilities to enhance client interactions. The role involves assisting clients with their daily banking, credit, and investment needs, acting as an RBC ambassador to add value and collaborate with partners to help clients achieve their financial goals. This includes demonstrating digital banking, onboarding new clients, and referring complex opportunities to specialists.
Key responsibilities include proactive engagement with clients in the branch and community to identify banking needs, provide advice, and find sales/referral opportunities. The role also involves client education and digital technology demonstration, assisting with financial transactions, understanding individual client needs through active listening, proactively resolving client banking issues, and cultivating relationships with partners for business opportunities and referrals.
Must-haves include Mutual Funds accreditation (or willingness to obtain it, e.g., Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course), demonstrated passion for client service and success in a target-driven sales environment, problem-solving and people skills for building strong relationships, flexibility, eagerness to learn, strong personal ethics, a hunger for success, and digital literacy. A nice-to-have is a track record in building and maintaining client relationships within the financial or service industry.
