Description

The Banking Advisor position at Royal Bank of Canada is a client-focused sales role where you will use your expertise and problem-solving skills to assist clients with their everyday banking, credit, and investment needs. You will act as an RBC ambassador, adding value to client interactions and collaborating with partners to help clients achieve their financial goals. Your responsibilities include educating clients on digital banking, onboarding new clients, and referring complex opportunities to specialists, all contributing to client satisfaction and loyalty.

What We're Looking For

Proactively engage with clients in all areas of the branch and in the community to identify banking needs, provide advice, and discover sales and referral opportunities.,Focus on client education and demonstrations, utilizing technology to enhance the client experience, drive sales, and retain business.,Assist clients with a full range of financial transactions upon their initiation.,Actively listen and converse with clients to understand their individual needs more deeply.,Proactively resolve and prevent client banking problems.,Cultivate and maintain relationships with partners to maximize business opportunities and referrals.

Ideal Candidate

Must-have: Mutual Funds accreditation, or willingness to obtain it (e.g., Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course).,Must-have: Demonstrated passion for prioritizing clients and a successful track record in a hands-on, target-driven sales environment.,Must-have: Strong problem-solving and people skills, with the ability to build robust relationships and proactively connect with clients.,Must-have: Flexibility, eagerness to learn, strong personal ethics, and a drive for success.,Must-have: Digital literacy across various devices such as smartphones, tablets, and laptops.,Must-have: Availability to work all open business hours.,Nice-to-have: Proven experience in building rapport and maintaining client relationships within the financial or service industry.
