This position at Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) involves assisting clients with their daily banking, credit, and investment needs. The role focuses on providing exceptional client service, identifying sales and referral opportunities, and educating clients on digital banking to foster satisfaction and loyalty.
Proactively engage with clients in branches and the community to identify banking needs and provide advice.
Educate clients and demonstrate digital banking solutions.
Assist clients with a full range of financial transactions.
Listen actively to understand individual client needs.
Resolve and prevent client banking problems.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with partners for business opportunities and referrals.
Mutual Funds accreditation, or willingness to obtain it (e.g., Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course)
Demonstrated passion for client focus and success in a target-driven sales environment
Problem-solving and people skills with the ability to build strong relationships
Flexibility, eagerness to learn, strong personal ethics, and a hunger for success
Digital literacy across a broad range of devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops)
Strong track record of building and maintaining client relationships in the finance or service sector (nice-to-have)
37.5 hours/week
Must be willing to travel and maintain mobility between various branch locations.
