Description

The intern will proactively engage with clients in the branch, providing exceptional service, processing transactions, and identifying sales and referral opportunities. They will use technology to enhance client experience, contribute to team results by offering advice and introducing clients to RBC partners, and take ownership of resolving banking problems. The role also involves cultivating relationships with partners and managing risks by adhering to compliance routines.

What We're Looking For

Candidates must demonstrate a strong passion for client service, possess drive and self-motivation, excellent communication skills, and emotional intelligence. Digital literacy across various devices is essential, along with personal flexibility for work hours and an eagerness to learn and succeed. Confidence in learning financial concepts and a willingness to obtain the Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course are required.

Ideal Candidate

Confidence and ability to learn financial concepts, willingness to obtain the Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course. A nice-to-have is a track record in building and maintaining client relationships within the financial, service, or retail industry, and Mutual Funds accreditation.
