Description

This internship offers a unique opportunity to apply client-focused sales expertise and problem-solving skills. The role involves assisting clients with their everyday banking, credit, and investment needs, acting as an RBC ambassador to add value and collaborate with partners to help clients achieve their goals. The focus is on creating meaningful client experiences through digital banking demonstrations, client onboarding, and referring complex opportunities to specialists, ultimately driving client satisfaction and loyalty.

What We're Looking For

Proactively engage with clients in the branch and community to uncover banking needs, provide advice, and identify sales and referral opportunities.,Focus on client education and demonstration, leveraging technology for a memorable client experience and to drive sales.,Respond to client-initiated contact, assisting with financial transactions.,Actively listen and engage clients to understand individual needs.,Proactively resolve and prevent client banking problems.,Cultivate and maintain relationships with partners for business opportunities and referrals.

Ideal Candidate

Must-have: Mutual Funds accreditation, or willingness to obtain it (e.g., Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course).,Must-have: Demonstrated passion for putting clients first and success in a hands-on, target-driven sales environment.,Must-have: Problem-solving and people skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and proactively connect with clients.,Must-have: Flexibility, eagerness to learn, strong personal ethics, and a hunger for success.,Must-have: Digital literacy across a broad range of devices (e.g., smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.).,Nice-to-have: Track record in building rapport and maintaining client relationships within the financial or service industry.
