Description

This role at Royal Bank of Canada involves leveraging client-focused sales expertise and problem-solving skills to assist clients with their daily banking, credit, and investment needs. The advisor acts as an RBC ambassador, aiming to add value to client interactions, collaborate with partners to help clients achieve their goals, and ultimately drive client satisfaction and loyalty by creating meaningful experiences.

What We're Looking For

Proactively engage with clients in the branch and community to uncover banking needs, provide advice, and identify sales and referral opportunities.

Focus on client education and demonstration, utilizing technology for a memorable client experience, driving sales, and retaining business.

Respond to client-initiated contact, assisting with a full range of financial transactions.

Actively listen and engage clients to understand individual needs.

Proactively take ownership of resolving and preventing client banking problems.

Cultivate and maintain relationships with partners to maximize business opportunities and referrals.

Must have or be willing to obtain Mutual Funds accreditation (e.g., Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course).

Demonstrated passion for putting clients first and proven success in a hands-on, target-driven sales environment.

Strong problem-solving and people skills, with the ability to build robust relationships and proactively connect with clients.

Flexibility, eagerness to learn, strong personal ethics, and a drive for success.

Digital literacy across a broad range of devices (e.g., smartphones, tablets, laptops).

Ideal Candidate

Mutual Funds accreditation (or willingness to obtain Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course).

Track record in building rapport and maintaining client relationships within the financial or service industry (Nice-to-have).
