This role focuses on client-focused sales, problem-solving, and maximizing client interactions by assisting with everyday banking, credit, and investment needs. The Banking Advisor acts as an RBC ambassador, providing advice, leveraging digital banking, onboarding new clients, and referring complex opportunities to specialists to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.
Proactively engage with clients in all areas of the branch and community to identify banking needs and provide solutions.
Focus on client education and digital banking demonstrations to enhance client experience and drive sales.
Assist clients with a full range of financial transactions upon their initiation.
Actively listen to clients to understand their individual needs.
Take ownership of resolving and preventing client banking problems.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with partners for business opportunities and referrals.
Mutual Funds accreditation, or willingness to obtain it (e.g., Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course)
Demonstrated passion for putting clients first, with success in a target-driven sales environment.
Problem-solving and people skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and proactively connect with clients.
Flexibility, eagerness to learn, strong personal ethics, and a hunger for success.
Digital literacy across a broad range of devices (e.g., smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.).
Nice-to-have: Track record in building rapport and maintaining client relationships within the financial or service industry.
