Description

This role at Royal Bank of Canada involves leveraging client-focused sales and problem-solving skills to enhance client interactions. The Banking Advisor will assist clients with their everyday banking, credit, and investment needs, acting as an RBC ambassador to help them achieve their financial goals. This includes demonstrating digital banking, onboarding new clients, and referring complex opportunities to specialists, all aimed at driving client satisfaction and loyalty.

What We're Looking For

Proactively engage with clients in the branch and community to uncover banking needs, provide advice, and identify sales and referral opportunities.,Focus on client education and demonstration, utilizing technology to deliver a memorable client experience, drive sales, and retain business.,Respond to client-initiated contact, assisting with a full range of financial transactions.,Actively listen and engage clients in conversation to understand their individual needs.,Proactively take ownership of resolving and preventing client banking problems.,Cultivate and maintain relationships with partners to maximize business opportunities and referrals.

Ideal Candidate

Mutual Funds accreditation (Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course) or willingness to obtain it.,Demonstrated passion for putting clients first and success in a hands-on, target-driven sales environment.,Problem-solving and people skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and proactively connect with clients.,Flexibility, eagerness to learn, strong personal ethics, and a hunger for success.,Digital literacy across a broad range of devices (e.g., smartphones, tablets, laptops).,Availability to work all open business hours.,Track record in building rapport and maintaining client relationships within the financial or service industry (Nice-to-have).,Bilingual (French or Mandarin preferred) (Nice-to-have).
