Description

This position requires client-focused sales expertise and problem-solving skills to maximize client interactions. The Banking Advisor will assist clients with everyday banking, credit, and investment needs, acting as an RBC ambassador to help clients achieve their financial goals. Responsibilities include demonstrating digital banking, onboarding new clients, and referring complex opportunities to specialists, all while aiming to create meaningful client experiences, drive satisfaction, and foster loyalty.

What We're Looking For

Proactively engage with clients in all areas of the branch and community to uncover banking needs, provide advice, and identify sales and referral opportunities.,Focus on client education and demonstration, utilizing technology to deliver a memorable client experience and drive sales.,Respond to client-initiated contact, assisting with a full range of financial transactions.,Actively listen and engage clients to understand individual needs.,Proactively resolve and prevent client banking problems.,Cultivate and maintain relationships with partners to optimize business opportunities and referrals.,Must be willing to offer and maintain mobility between listed branch locations.

Ideal Candidate

Mutual Funds accreditation, or willingness to obtain it (i.e., Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course),Demonstrated passion for putting clients first, with success in a hands-on, target-driven sales environment,Problem-solving and people skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and proactively connect with clients,Flexibility, eagerness to learn, strong personal ethics, and a hunger for success,Digital literacy across a broad range of devices (i.e., smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.)
