Banking Advisor - Toronto Downtown (Bilingual: English and Cantonese/Mandarin/French/Vietnamese/Spanish)

Description

This role focuses on client-focused sales expertise and problem-solving. The Banking Advisor will assist clients with their daily banking, credit, and investment needs, acting as an RBC ambassador. They will add value through client interactions, collaborate with RBC partners to help clients achieve their goals, demonstrate digital banking, onboard new clients, and refer complex opportunities to specialists, all contributing to client satisfaction and loyalty.

What We're Looking For

Proactively engage with clients in branches and the community to identify banking needs, provide advice, and uncover sales and referral opportunities.,Focus on client education and demonstration, utilizing technology for an enhanced client experience, driving sales, and retaining business.,Assist clients with a full range of financial transactions upon their initiation.,Actively listen and engage clients to understand their individual needs.,Proactively take ownership of resolving and preventing client banking problems.,Cultivate and maintain relationships with partners to maximize business opportunities and referrals.,Mutual Funds accreditation (Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course) or willingness to obtain it during the training period.,Demonstrated passion for prioritizing clients and proven success in a hands-on, target-driven sales environment.,Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build robust relationships and proactively connect with clients.,Flexibility, eagerness to learn, strong personal ethics, and a drive for success.,Digital literacy across various devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops).,Availability to work all open business hours, including extended hours Monday through Saturday until 8:00 PM and Sunday as applicable.

Ideal Candidate

Mutual Funds accreditation (Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course) or willingness to obtain during training period.,Track record in building rapport and maintaining client relationships within the financial or service industry (Nice-to-have).

Work Hours

37.5 hours/week, with full availability during RBC's retail branch hours, including extended hours Monday through Saturday until 8:00 PM and Sunday as applicable.
