Description

This role focuses on client-focused sales and problem-solving to enhance client interactions. The advisor will assist clients with their everyday banking, credit, and investment needs, acting as an RBC ambassador to help them achieve their financial goals through digital banking demonstrations, onboarding, and referring complex opportunities to specialists. The objective is to create meaningful client experiences, driving satisfaction and loyalty.

What We're Looking For

Proactively engage with clients in branches and the community to identify banking needs and provide advice.,Focus on client education, leveraging technology for an improved client experience and to drive sales.,Assist clients with a full range of financial transactions upon contact.,Actively listen to clients to understand their individual needs.,Take ownership of resolving and preventing client banking problems.,Cultivate and maintain relationships with partners for business opportunities and referrals.,Mutual Funds accreditation (Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course) or willingness to obtain it during training.,Demonstrated passion for client service and success in a target-driven sales environment.,Strong problem-solving and people skills with the ability to build relationships.,Flexibility, eagerness to learn, strong personal ethics, and a hunger for success.,Digital literacy across various devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops).,Availability to work all open business hours, including extended hours Monday through Saturday until 8:00 PM and Sunday as applicable.

Ideal Candidate

Mutual Funds accreditation (i.e., Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course) or willingness to obtain it within your training period.

Work Hours

37.5 hours/week; fully available during retail branch hours, including extended hours Monday-Saturday until 8:00 PM and applicable Sundays.

Special Commitments

Required to be fully available to work during RBC's retail branch hours of operation, including extended hours Monday through Saturday until 8:00 PM and Sunday as applicable.
