Description

This position focuses on leveraging client-focused sales expertise and problem-solving skills to enhance client interactions. The Banking Advisor will assist clients with their daily banking, credit, and investment needs, acting as an RBC ambassador to add value and collaborate with partners to achieve client goals. This involves demonstrating digital banking, onboarding new clients, and referring complex opportunities to specialists to drive satisfaction and loyalty.

What We're Looking For

Proactively engage with clients in all areas of the branch and community, identifying banking needs, providing advice, and uncovering sales and referral opportunities.,Focus on client education and demonstration, utilizing technology to deliver memorable client experiences, drive sales, and retain business.,Respond to client-initiated contact, assisting with a full range of financial transactions.,Actively listen and engage clients in conversation to understand individual needs.,Proactively take ownership of resolving and preventing client banking problems.,Cultivate and maintain relationships with partners to maximize business opportunities and referrals.

Ideal Candidate

Must-have: Mutual Funds accreditation (e.g., Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course).,Must-have: Demonstrated passion for putting clients first and success in a hands-on, target-driven sales environment.,Must-have: Problem-solving and people skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and proactively connect with clients.,Must-have: Flexibility, eagerness to learn, strong personal ethics, and a hunger for success.,Must-have: Digital literacy across a broad range of devices (e.g., smartphones, tablets, laptops).,Must-have: Availability to work all open business hours.,Nice-to-have: Track record in building rapport and maintaining client relationships within the financial or service industry.
