Banking Advisor - Broadway & Macdonald, Vancouver

Description

This role is a client-focused sales position at Royal Bank of Canada, where the advisor will use problem-solving skills to assist clients with their everyday banking, credit, and investment needs. The advisor acts as an RBC ambassador, delivering value through client interactions, demonstrating digital banking solutions, onboarding new clients, and referring complex needs to specialists to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.

What We're Looking For

Proactively engage with clients in branch and community settings to identify banking needs, provide advice, and uncover sales and referral opportunities.,Educate and demonstrate digital banking solutions to clients, leveraging technology for an improved client experience and business retention.,Assist clients with a full range of financial transactions upon their initiation.,Actively listen and engage clients to understand their individual financial needs.,Take ownership of resolving and preventing client banking problems.,Cultivate and maintain relationships with internal partners to maximize business opportunities and referrals.

Ideal Candidate

Mutual Funds accreditation (i.e., Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course),Demonstrated passion for putting clients first, with a track record of success in a hands-on, target-driven sales environment,Strong problem-solving and people skills, including the ability to build robust client relationships and proactively connect with clients,Flexibility, eagerness to learn, strong personal ethics, and a drive for success,Digital literacy across various devices (e.g., smartphones, tablets, laptops),Availability to work all open business hours,Nice-to-have: Track record in building rapport and maintaining client relationships within the financial or service industry
