Collaborate with Kitchen Supervisor and General Manager to maintain a positive work environment.,Support Kitchen Supervisor in achieving daily kitchen operational and sales goals.,Ensure inventory and food management processes (ordering, quality, waste, safety, hygiene) are met.,Execute daily shift planning, organization, and implementation of operational routines for the kitchen team.,Assign daily tasks during peak and non-peak times using a deployment tool.,Act as a role model by adhering to and enforcing company policies and procedures.,Be knowledgeable about Mandy's products.,Support Kitchen Supervisor in guiding team members on operational and procedural matters (e.g., menu knowledge, prepping, cooking, building, tossing, presenting and garnishing) to ensure quality, service, and guest standards are met or exceeded.,Aid Kitchen Supervisor in team development through continuous feedback and goal follow-up.,Prepare and run daily BOH team rallies.,Plan and manage daily BOH team break schedules.,Partner with FOH Team to monitor guest order wait times and address food-related complaints.,Submit daily reporting requirements (e.g., Shift notes, Cash Management).,Assist Kitchen Supervisor in the recruitment process for new kitchen team members (e.g., interviews).,Continuously review kitchen operations for improvement opportunities.,Execute administrative and other tasks as requested by Kitchen Supervisor and/or General Manager.
Post-secondary schooling completed or equivalent.,1 year of leadership/supervisor experience in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting (preferred).,Kitchen experience (prep, recipe, assemblage, and presentation) (asset).,Degree in a culinary field or the hospitality industry (asset).,MAPAQ certification and first aid training (asset).
