Automation Engineer DACH (m/f/d)
Description
Vention is seeking an Automation Engineer to design, deploy, and support cutting-edge automation systems across Europe, leveraging their Manufacturing Automation Platform (MAP). The role involves hands-on engineering, customer interaction, and contributing to the rapid scaling of industrial automation.
What We're Looking For
Lead the planning, installation, and commissioning of turnkey systems.,Program and validate equipment, including MachineMotion and robotics (UR, Fanuc, ABB).,Provide 1st-line technical support for mechanical, software, and robot issues.,Deliver customer training and troubleshooting, including participation in a 24/7 rotation starting in 2026.,Act as on-site technical lead for deployments.,Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).,Identify process enhancements and contribute to internal SOPs/documentation.,Provide field insights to Product and Engineering teams.
Ideal Candidate
Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering.,2–5 years of experience in industrial automation, robotics integration, or robotics field service.,Fluent in English and German.,Strong mechanical foundation.,Programming experience (ideally Python).
