Auto Claims Advisor I

Support customer claims from start to finish (arrange towing, set up appraisals, outline coverage).,Gather, organize, and verify required information and documentation.,Reconcile estimates from new and preferred vendors.,Contribute to team productivity objectives (file count, open/close ratio).,Collaborate with internal partners and external vendors (Enterprise, repair shops).,Research coverage scenarios and apply knowledge to claims.,Greet and welcome customers as they arrive at TD Auto Centres.,Apply non-biased and appropriate methods to achieve file resolution, resulting in a fair and equitable claim settlement.,Communicate clear claims processing requirements to customers while maintaining detailed claims notes and delivering timely progress updates and timely responses to client inquiries.,Participate as a member of the team and contribute to a positive work environment.

One or more years of claims adjusting experience is preferred; applicants without specific claims experience who are curious about the industry are welcome.,Postsecondary education considered an asset.,Candidates actively pursuing their Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation and/or other relevant continuing education are preferred.,Provincial claims licensing may be required.
